The LPGA Tour has been under fire after a notable broadcasting discrepancy during The Annika 2024, where a significant portion of the event was delayed due to a scheduling conflict with the PGA Tour. Despite securing backing from the CME Group, a company valued at $81.43 billion, the LPGA’s event struggled to maintain its primetime status on major networks like the Golf Channel.

CEO Terry Duff voiced his frustration, criticizing the decision to prioritize men’s events over women’s, stating that such actions undermine the growth of women’s sports.
