“I’m excited to be on that plane” – Charley Hull shares her season-end plan after the Maybank Championship

Following her solid performance at the 2024 Maybank Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Charley Hull shared her excitement for the season’s final events. Hull improved significantly over the tournament, scoring rounds of 72 and 70 initially, followed by an impressive 3-under 69 and a 7-under 65.

Her efforts secured her a T12 finish on the leaderboard, tying her with accomplished players like Linn Grant and Celine Boutier. Reflecting on her progress, Hull expressed eagerness to return to familiar courses and ultimately spend the holidays at home, saying, “I’m excited to be on that plane home to spend Christmas at home.”

The English golfer is now looking ahead to the CME Group Tour Championship, held in Naples, Florida, from November 21–24, and the Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, running November 14–17. Hull’s season has been marked by consistency, making 13 cuts in 15 starts and finishing in the top 25 eleven times.

Her standout finishes include a fifth place at the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open and top-10s at the FIR HILLS SERI PAK Championship and Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions. Currently ranked 46th in the Race to CME Globe standings, Hull aims to close the year strong, bolstered by her recent success in Kuala Lumpur.
