Elin Nordegren and Jordan Cameron Successfully Change Infant Son’s Name to Arthur

Elin Nordegren’s pregnancy became public knowledge in June, with photos capturing her baby bump during her older son Charlie’s flag football game. Later in October 2019, she and Jordan Cameron were seen together with their newborn baby, now revealed to be a boy, at Charlie’s soccer game. This change in the family dynamic added another layer, as Jordan Cameron also has a 10-year-old son named Tristan from a previous relationship.

Tiger Woods’ former wife, Elin Nordegren, and her boyfriend, Jordan Cameron, made their way out of a Florida courthouse on Tuesday, having successfully changed their infant son’s name from Filip to Arthur. The 40-year-old former model and nanny was visibly pleased as the court approved the name change. By her side, Jordan Cameron, a 31-year-old former NFL player, held their four-month-old son in his arms, cradling him lovingly while carrying the child’s Bugaboo car seat.

This significant change in the child’s name, Arthur Nordegren Cameron, was confirmed by The Sun newspaper, which also revealed Elin’s current profession as a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in Florida. The couple welcomed their son on October 4, 2019, initially naming him Filip Nordegren Cameron. The decision to change the name was made official with paperwork filed on December 5, 2019, although the court papers did not disclose the reason behind this choice.

Elin Nordegren’s life has been closely followed by the public since her marriage to golf superstar Tiger Woods. They met during the 2001 Open Championship and got married in 2004. However, their marriage ended in divorce in 2010, following a highly publicized cheating scandal. Elin received a substantial settlement of $100 million in the divorce. After her divorce from Woods, she dated billionaire mining entrepreneur Chris Cline until his unfortunate death in a helicopter crash in July 2019.
