Lexi Thompson has returned to the golf range after announcing earlier this year that she would step back from playing full-time in 2025. The American golfer concluded her full-time 2024 schedule at the Grant Thornton Invitational, a mixed-field event with PGA and LPGA players, where she teamed with Rickie Fowler to finish 14th.
Sharing her practice session on Instagram this week, Thompson hinted at her new approach to golf, saying, “I did say from full time.” Her 2024 season featured a mix of challenges and highlights, including four top-10 finishes, such as a tie for second at the Meijer LPGA Classic and a tie for ninth at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.
Though stepping back from a full schedule, Thompson continues to showcase her dedication to the sport while embracing this transitional phase in her career.
