Jordan Spieth Hints to Whether He Would Join TGL Simulator League

Jordan Spieth has chosen not to participate in the inaugural season of TGL, the simulator golf league co-founded by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. In a conversation on “The Smylie Show,” Spieth cited family commitments and his residence in Dallas as factors influencing his decision.

Despite his absence, Spieth remains open to future involvement. He mentioned that both he and fellow Dallas native Scottie Scheffler have been approached to serve as substitutes in TGL matches. However, scheduling conflicts have prevented their participation thus far.

Spieth suggested that the addition of a Dallas-based team could facilitate his and Scheffler’s involvement. He envisioned a potential lineup including himself, Scheffler, Will Zalatoris, and Tom Kim. Currently, Kim competes for Jupiter Links alongside Tiger Woods, Max Homa, and Kevin Kisner.

As TGL progresses through its inaugural season, the league may consider expansion opportunities. Incorporating a Dallas team could attract prominent players like Spieth and Scheffler, enhancing the league’s appeal and competitiveness.
