He credited his teammate, Justin Thomas, for supplying him with detailed notes, and Spieth, along with his caddie Michael Greller, explored the Marco Simone course, playing the back nine with the U.S. team on Tuesday.

Spieth’s dedication to his family and the Ryder Cup is evident, even with the challenges of new fatherhood. Addressing his decision to stay home, he said, “It’s not ideal to stay home when you’re preparing for a massive tournament, but I needed to be home. Thankfully, they’re all doing great.”

His Ryder Cup record stands at 8-7-3, including an impressive 5-3-1 record in away matches, highlighting his ability to thrive in challenging environments.
