Charley Hull and Nelly Korda are set to renew their thrilling rivalry at The Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in Belleair, Florida. Hull, in stunning form, is 38 under par over her last seven competitive rounds worldwide.

Fresh off a victory on the Ladies European Tour, the Englishwoman leads the tournament by two strokes over World No. 1 Korda. Their rivalry, which was highlighted by Hull’s dominant singles victory at the Solheim Cup in September, adds a compelling narrative to this LPGA event.

Hull’s impressive play, including 12 birdies over the first two rounds, underscores her status as a top contender. Meanwhile, Korda, returning from a neck injury, has posted back-to-back 66s, showcasing her resilience and comfort on her home turf despite challenging conditions.

The competition also features standout performances from Alexa Pano and a sentimental farewell for Brittany Lincicome. Pano’s second-round 64 places her in a tie for third despite a double bogey on the 18th. Rookie Jin Hee Im, Mi Hyang Lee, and Wichanee Meechai join her at 7 under. Lincicome, playing her final event as a full-time professional, made the cut with a gutsy 69, navigating nerves and pressure in what she described as an emotional round.

With three players still to complete their second rounds due to darkness, Saturday promises more excitement as Hull and Korda prepare for a potential showdown, continuing their captivating battle for supremacy on the course.
