Caitlin Clark, the WNBA sensation, recently sharpened her golf skills with former LPGA player Martha Foyer-Faulconer at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Indiana. Foyer-Faulconer, a seasoned golf pro who competed on the LPGA Tour from 1987 to 1995, was impressed by Clark’s adaptability and enthusiasm for the sport.

The two have been focusing on Clark’s short game, where Foyer-Faulconer helped her relax and refine her movements. Clark’s efforts have already paid off, as her progress was highlighted in a recent viral TikTok video showing her close call with a hole-in-one. The intense training is part of her preparation for the Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican, where she will join Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam in a pro-am event.

Clark’s passion for golf has quickly become evident, with her jokingly saying that after the Indiana Fever’s recent playoff exit, she might as well become a pro golfer. Foyer-Faulconer, who has a shared background in basketball and golf, is thrilled to coach Clark, admiring her raw talent and driven personality.

She described Clark as a natural, able to make significant adjustments swiftly and dedicated to improving every aspect of her game. Working through her mechanics and tackling her slice, Clark was eager to wield the driver and “kill it,” showing the same competitive spirit that has made her a force in basketball.
