The first word Giorgi used to describe her triumph was a simple yet fitting “Wow.” Her dominance on serve was evident as she won 24 of 29 points, consistently reaching 40-0 or 40-15 in all six of her service games.

In contrast, Stephens struggled to hold her serve, managing only three game points throughout the match. Giorgi capitalized on these opportunities, breaking Stephens early in each set to secure a decisive victory in just 47 minutes. Giorgi’s aggressive and precise play was reflected in her 12 winners to only five unforced errors, showcasing her control over the match.
