Charley Hull captured her first title in two years at the Aramco Team Series presented by PIF in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, closing with a stellar 6-under 66 to finish 18-under overall. This win, her fourth on the Ladies European Tour (LET), marked a successful comeback for the 28-year-old English golfer, who has been in impressive form since recovering from a shoulder injury sustained in July.

Hull, known for her steady performance, noted that although she had two three-putts on the back nine, she was pleased with her play, saying, “I felt really sharp, I played very solidly today.” Her recent stretch of strong finishes, including a dominant singles win over Nelly Korda at the Solheim Cup, underscores her rise back to the top.

Hull’s win in Riyadh also comes as she prepares for the final stretch of the LPGA season, where she will compete in The Annika and the CME Group Tour Championship in the United States before heading home for the holidays. Hull expressed her excitement about closing the season on a high note, particularly at the CME Championship course, where she previously won in 2016.

Alongside Hull’s victory, the tournament celebrated Swiss golfer Chiara Tamburlini, who made history as the first Swiss player to clinch the LET Order of Merit.

This final event in the Saudi-backed Aramco Team Series showcased some of the best talent on the LET but also highlighted the ongoing controversy surrounding Saudi Arabia’s sponsorship due to the nation’s human rights record, especially concerning women’s rights.
