Prior to her injury, Korda had an exceptional season, claiming six victories in 14 tournaments, including five consecutive wins. Her impressive streak began with the LPGA Drive On Championship and culminated with a triumph at the Mizuho Americas Open, where she posted rounds of 70, 68, 65, and 71.
