Among the 11 nominees vying for this coveted title are some well-known names and remarkable displays of skill. This selection, unveiled as part of FIFA’s The Best award series, includes football talents such as Julio Enciso, Sam Kerr, and Linda Caicedo, each of whom left an indelible mark on the world of football with their remarkable goals.

Linda Caicedo, representing Real Madrid, delivered a moment of brilliance during the Women’s World Cup, where her extraordinary goal secured a victory for Colombia against Germany. Meanwhile, Julio Enciso, hailing from Brighton & Hove Albion, showcased his skill with a stunning strike against Manchester City in the Premier League last season. These accomplishments have earned them well-deserved spots on the Puskas Award shortlist.

The list of nominees doesn’t stop here; there are several other remarkable contenders who have graced the footballing world with their extraordinary goals.
