**Scottie Scheffler’s Lexus TX350 Hits the Auction Block Amid Controversy**
The 2024 Lexus TX350 that PGA’s No. 1-ranked golfer, Scottie Scheffler, drove during a high-profile arrest in May is now set to be auctioned by Mecum Auctions.

This Caviar Black SUV, complete with black-and-gray leather interior, was one of the courtesy vehicles provided by Lexus under its PGA sponsorship. The arrest occurred near Louisville’s Valhalla Golf Course during the 2024 PGA Championship, where Scheffler was accused of striking a police officer while navigating a chaotic traffic scene. The incident, which included charges of felony assault and misdemeanors, was later deemed a misunderstanding, with all charges dropped.

Despite the controversy, Scheffler’s performance on the course remained unaffected, as he delivered an impressive five-under-par 66 the same day.

The Lexus TX350, now labeled “the most famous Lexus SUV,” will be auctioned on December 7 in Kansas City, Missouri. It comes with a copy of the Louisville Metro Police incident report, further highlighting its connection to the sensational event. Lexus’s initial partnership with the PGA aimed to elevate its brand among new audiences, but the arrest brought unexpected publicity. Mecum Auctions has listed the SUV as Lot S170, making it a unique collector’s item for enthusiasts.

With its 2.4L DOHC turbocharged engine, all-wheel drive, and premium design, this vehicle represents both a significant moment in sports and automotive history. Whether seen as a symbol of resilience or controversy, the 2024 Lexus TX350 is certain to attract attention from collectors and fans alike.
