Jessica and Nelly Korda recently provided an update on their brother, American tennis player Sebastian Korda, following his recent absence from tournaments. Sebastian last competed at the 2024 US Open in August, where he was defeated by Tomas Machac.

Since then, he has not returned to the professional circuit, prompting questions about his health. On October 12, Sebastian revealed on Instagram that he had undergone right elbow surgery due to persistent elbow issues.

He expressed optimism about his recovery, sharing that the procedure went well and thanking his supporters for their encouragement. Jessica and Nelly shared his post on their Instagram stories to keep fans informed.

While Sebastian recovers, both sisters have their own updates. Nelly Korda, who has had a remarkable season with six LPGA tournament wins, is currently on a short break before her upcoming tournaments in Asia, including the BMW Ladies Championship in South Korea and the Maybank Championship in Malaysia.

Her season highlights include winning five consecutive tournaments, which has solidified her as a top player on the tour. Jessica, meanwhile, continues her hiatus due to a back injury and is focused on her family after welcoming her first child in February with her partner, Johnny DelPrete.
