Scottie Scheffler delivered a remarkable performance at the Paris Olympics, securing the gold medal in men’s golf with a final-round 9-under-par 62.
His extraordinary play, including birdies on multiple holes, propelled him to a winning total of 19-under-par, setting a new Olympic record for 72 holes with a score of 265.
This victory adds a gold medal to Scheffler’s impressive 2024 season, which also features a Masters win and multiple PGA Tour victories. Scheffler’s emotional medal ceremony underscored his pride in representing the United States, and he joins a select group of players

who have won six PGA Tour events in a single season since Tiger Woods in 2009. Meanwhile, Xander Schauffele, the gold medalist from Tokyo, finished tied for ninth in Paris, while Hideki Matsuyama and Tommy Fleetwood took silver and bronze respectively.
