**You Won’t Believe How Much Jim Nantz Is Bidding for Scottie Scheffler’s Old Car**
Scottie Scheffler, the world’s No. 1 golfer with over $71 million in PGA Tour earnings, recently parted ways with his 2012 GMC Yukon—his trusty ride with more than 200,000 miles.

Despite his monumental success, Scheffler held onto the vehicle gifted by his father after college, a reflection of his grounded personality. But with the arrival of his son, Scheffler finally upgraded, and the old Yukon found a higher purpose.

It’s now being auctioned for Triumph Over Kid Cancer (TOKC), a non-profit dedicated to childhood cancer research. Founded by Scheffler’s friend James Ragan, who tragically lost his battle with osteosarcoma, the organization holds a deep connection to the golfer’s family.

What’s truly remarkable is the auction itself. Initially starting at $10,000, bids climbed quickly—until legendary broadcaster Jim Nantz entered the fray. Known for his philanthropy, Nantz, who met Ragan through MD Anderson events, stunned the room by pushing the bid to $50,000.

For Nantz, this wasn’t just a charitable gesture; the car symbolizes a journey that started at the 2012 Masters, where the Schefflers purchased it after their previous vehicle broke down. Having carried Scottie across countless junior tournaments, the Yukon holds sentimental and historical value.

More importantly, its sale will contribute significantly to childhood cancer research, showing how an old car can drive extraordinary impact
