Tim Henman, a former world No. 4, has expressed optimism about Emma Raducanu’s potential for the 2025 season, emphasizing the importance of her playing more matches to climb the rankings. Raducanu, who concluded the 2024 season ranked world No. 57 after starting the year outside the top 300, achieved significant progress despite battling injuries.

Her standout performances included a fourth-round finish at Wimbledon and deep runs at tournaments in Nottingham, Stuttgart, and Eastbourne. However, recurring injuries forced her to withdraw from several events during the Asian swing, underscoring the need for improved fitness and consistency in her schedule.

Henman believes that if Raducanu stays injury-free and increases her tournament appearances, she has the ability to contend for major titles once again. Speaking to *Sky Sports*, Henman remarked, “When she was on court, she played very, very well. If she can increase her volume, I see no doubt in her ranking improving and her competing for the biggest and best titles.

” He also highlighted British No. 1 Katie Boulter’s strong 2024 season, predicting a top-20 breakthrough for her in 2025. Henman praised both players’ resilience and urged them to build on their current momentum as they prepare for the upcoming WTA season.
