The 2022 Hero World Challenge has teed off at the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas, and although Tiger Woods is absent from the competition, the spotlight has shifted to an unexpected star – the adorable toddler of Jordan Spieth and his wife, Annie.

While the golfing world anticipated Woods’ hosting role, it was the heartwarming interaction between Jordan Spieth and his one-year-old son that stole the show. A viral video captured the toddler crawling on the golf field, closely observing his father’s every move during a range session at the Albany Club.

Born on November 11th the previous year, the Spieths recently celebrated their son Sammy’s first birthday. Looking ahead, the young Spieth is set to make his debut at the PNC Championship, a PGA Tour event where golfers team up with family members. Jordan Spieth, a three-time major champion, will be partnering with his son in this father-son competition.

Despite Spieth’s impressive golfing credentials, he has not participated in the PNC Championship until now. The 2022 edition sees Spieth teaming up with his father, 60-year-old Shawn Spieth, making their debut appearance in this special tournament.

In anticipation of the event, Spieth expressed his excitement, stating, “We have been wanting to be a part of it for some time, and this year the schedules aligned.” This event holds special significance for Spieth, as it is the only Tour-sanctioned event he will play this year following the Hero World Challenge.

During the Hero World Challenge, Spieth’s focus extended beyond his performance on the course as he enjoyed precious moments with his son and wife at the range sessions hosted by Tiger Woods. Despite not securing a prominent position on the leaderboard, Spieth’s enthusiasm for the game and the joy he shared with his family were evident.

As golf enthusiasts eagerly await the outcome of the PNC Championship, Spieth’s journey at the Hero World Challenge serves as a reminder that, win or lose, the joy of the game and cherished family moments remain at the forefront of his golfing experience.
