Tyson Fury and his wife, Paris Fury, have recently introduced the world to their newest addition, a baby boy born on September 18th. The name they have chosen for their seventh child is Prince Rico Paris Fury. In a heartfelt interview with OK! Magazine, Paris revealed that this unique name carries a profound significance, as it pays tribute to Tyson’s late cousin, Rico Burton, who tragically lost his life in 2022 due to a stabbing incident outside a nightclub.
Paris shared that naming their children has always been a distinctive endeavor for them, and this choice is deeply personal to both her and Tyson. She humorously added that she finally got her own tribute in their baby’s second middle name, Paris, after having seven children.
The Furies are no strangers to parenting, as they already have six other children: Venezuela, Prince John James, Prince Tyson II, Valencia, Prince Adonis Amaziah, and Athena. Tyson once explained their tradition of naming their sons “Prince” in a 2020 documentary, stating that they are Princes until they earn their rightful names as Kings.
Baby Rico, who arrived at 2:29 am, weighing 6lb 13oz, is already capturing the hearts of his family members. Paris expressed her appreciation for her daughter Venezuela, who has taken a keen interest in her new sibling and enjoys playing with and feeding him.
However, Tyson was unable to be present for Rico’s birth, as he was fully immersed in his training camp. Paris shared that he had to leave just a few hours before Rico was born, with her mother stepping in as her second birthing partner.
Despite the challenges of managing a growing family, Paris declared that she is “on cloud nine” and has successfully kept the baby blues at bay during Tyson’s absence. She also addressed concerns about their large family, asserting that they are well-cared for, loved, and protected.
Paris has always dreamt of having a big family, and despite the warnings and past scares, such as Athena’s health scare shortly after birth, she remains resolute in her desire for a large and happy family.
