PGA Tour star Jordan Spieth: “I don’t really have any problems with it”

Jordan Spieth, the three-time major champion and 13-time PGA Tour winner, has provided a positive update on his recovery from wrist surgery. Speaking on Sirius XM PGA Tour Radio, Spieth confirmed he is now practicing without restrictions and experiencing no pain.

His surgery, performed in August to address damage to the ulnar nerve in his left wrist, was necessitated by an injury initially sustained in May 2023 while playing with his son. Despite opting against surgery at first, the condition worsened throughout the following year, leading to a significant

decline in his 2024 performance, including a career-low three top-10 finishes and a career-high eight missed cuts. Spieth is optimistic about returning to full form, aiming to prepare for the demands of playing consecutive tournaments in the 2025 season.

Reflecting on his challenging 2024 season, Spieth admitted to several setbacks, including near-withdrawals due to recurring wrist issues and missed opportunities in major championships. The former Masters champion struggled to find consistency, missing the cut in key events like The Masters and THE PLAYERS Championship, and failing to qualify for the Tour Championship.

However, his resilience and dedication to recovery suggest he is poised for a strong comeback. As the PGA Tour’s 2025 season approaches, beginning with The Sentry in Hawaii this January, fans will eagerly anticipate Spieth’s return to competitive golf, potentially marking the start of a new chapter in his illustrious career.
