He warned fellow players, stating, “You are all in trouble and screwed if you don’t support it.” Mickelson publicly backed Ball’s stance, affirming, “This is spot on accurate. You nailed the most important part of the entire agreement. You’re the first to do it.”
The crux of the disagreement revolves around Monahan’s skepticism about LIV Golf thriving under the new framework agreement. Ball countered, labeling it as ludicrous to consider ‘shuttering’ LIV Golf and urging the PGA Tour to enhance its promotion of team golf.
